Taiwan for one day : we are our way around!

We were fortunate to have a friend from here who took the day to show us around. First he brought is to a local market where we ate our way through many local foods. The vendors were all to happy to let us try lots of things. Then we drove to a temple to visit before driving though the mountains (over 3,000 m high) with hot springs. It is a national park and beautiful. This brought us to Taipei where we visited the national museum (palace). Here there are ancient artifacts going back to the Stone Age. Many things from the Hun dynasty and on. It was amazing. Finally back to Keelung where the port is to visit the night market (and more food, including bubble tea as it was invented here), before boarding the ship to watch the cultural show.
